Install Technician

Description

  • Responsible for completing fiber installs including but not limited to drop install at tap

    point and on the side of premise and fiber install inside home

  • Responsible for activating necessary electronic equipment and understanding basic

  • ONT/Router troubleshooting procedures

  • Responsible for quickly redirecting efforts on installs to troubleshooting customer complaints and issues throughout the day, driving customer satisfaction through quick response times

Preferred Skills:

  • Great public speaking skills when working with customers

  • Background in fiber install and troubleshooting

  • Knowledge of Tier 1/2 support, OTS testing, OTDR testing, OLT provisioning, and Router setup

  • Willing to climb ladders, lift more than 50lbs, and work in confined spaces while completing home installs

  • Speak multiple languages

Required Skills:

  • Ability to read and navigate installation procedures on company network device

  • Clean driving record and pass background check
